“Are You Ready?” features the true story of Allen Early, a San Carlos Apache from eastern Arizona. Allen grew up in the traditional way. He became such a violent man that even his own people wanted him put away. But jail couldn’t hold him. He escaped seven times. After a manhunt brought him in they put him in solitary confinement. Allen tried to hang himself, but got caught. Finally, he decided to go on a hunger strike in order to kill himself. During this strike a man came into the jail and shared his personal testimony about how Jesus changed his life. Allen listened… and something happened in his heart.
