Harlan got involved with alcohol at the age of fourteen. It was the beginning of 26 years of bondage to the bottle. Education took him to Phoenix where he learned a trade, found work, and had a family. But eventually, his drinking ruined everything. He ended up a drunk, homeless, and sleeping in an abandoned motel. No one wanted him around anymore. In trying to manipulate his wife to take him back he went to church hoping she’d think he had changed. It was all supposed to be a show… but something unexpected happened. God saved Harlan and he was set free.
