Ted Murdock started drinking at an early age and it only got worse as life went on. Alcohol had him, and he knew it. He would make promises, and try to quit, but he would always return to the bottle. He was a successful guide and musician, yet he lived a lonely and miserable life. Then one day Ted cried out to the Lord with all his heart. The powers of darkness wouldn’t let him go without a fight… spirits came to scare and destroy him. But in the end, they would lose. God saved Ted on August 8, 1994, and He delivered him from his addiction to alcohol and gambling. It was plain to everyone who knew him that his life had been changed. Ted went home to be with the Lord in 2004, but his story is still with us, reminding us of the mercy, grace and life-changing power of the One who rescued him – Jesus.
