Using God's Word to Share the Gospel
God's Word, the Bible, is the most important tool we can use when sharing the Gospel (Good News) with others. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” His Words are powerful and have the highest authority. When we use them, we can confidently say that “God has said”. If people disagree, it's a disagreement with what God has said, not us.
God has plainly told us what we need to know about Himself, sin, the punishment for sin, and how we can be right with Him. Here are some verses that may be useful in helping people understand what God says about these matters.
