Guiding Principles

Without Reservation is interested in doing God's work His way. To that end we place high value on the principles that He has given in His Word. We believe that He has given them to guide us... and that by His Spirit, through His Word, we are thoroughly equipped to do His work.

We exist to bring God glory.
This should be reflected in what we do and how we do it.
1 Corinthians 10:31 > Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (NKJV)

1 Peter 2:9-10 > But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. (NKJV)

We work for Him.
He has sent us; He is the One we aim to please.
Matthew 28:18-20 > And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)

Hebrews 12:28 > Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. (NKJV)

We look to Him for direction.
He knows best how we should do His work.
Proverbs 3:5-6 > Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)

Psalms 25:4-5 > Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. (NKJV)

He guides us by His Spirit through His Word.
This enables us to do His work His way.
Psalm 119:105 > Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. (NKJV)

2 Timothy 3:16-17 > All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, or correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (NKJV)

James 1:5 > If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (NKJV)

Apart from Christ, we can do nothing.
We must abide in Him or our labors are pointless.
John 15:5 > "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJV)

Psalms 127:1 > Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. (NKJV)
