Soapy Dollar is a Mescalero Apache who was abandoned at birth in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. After being picked up by a fortune teller and passed around, at the age of five he was placed in a ranch for homeless and delinquent boys. This would be home for the rest of his youth. As an orphan, his memories and perspective of Christmas are different than most. Would bitterness and resentment mark the young man who was born rejected No, in fact, it’s quite a different story… an amazing one. And Christmas was a part of it.
I became a Christian back in 1986. From there I attended Central Indian Bible College. I am enrolled with the Fond du Lac band of Ojibwe here in Minnesota. Would you please send updated testimonies from Storytellers. Thank you for your ministry. The Lord bless & provide to continue this much needed work in His name.
Thank you for the testimonies through the ministry of Storytellers. I believe that a big factor in Natives resistance to the gospel message is unforgiveness. Unity in prayer for a breakthrough will be needed.
Glad to see you guys are still doing a great job doing the Lord’s work. May God continue to bless through Story Tellers!
